Predictions World Cup- Day 5

Switzerland vs Cameroon | World Cup

24.11.2022 10:00

Prediction: 2-0

On Thursday, November 24, Group G of the World Championships starts with Brazil favored for first place and a balanced battle for second position between Serbia, Cameroon, and Switzerland. The first direct clash for the passage of the round is between Cameroon and Switzerland, which thus puts three very heavy points on the line. The match will be played at the Al Janoub stadium between two teams that did not approach the Qatar expedition positively: Cameroon did not win any pre-competition friendly matches, and Switzerland lost the only test against Ghana, 2–0.

  • Switzerland played only one friendly before the World Cup against Ghana, lost 2-0, and never had a shot on target.
  • The Swiss Unbeaten have won three of their last five matches with a 2.5 result.
  • Cameroon had seven consecutive under 2.5s before flying to Qatar.
  • In the pre-World Cup friendlies, Cameroon drew 1-1 with Panama and Jamaica, shooting only three times on goal in both cases.
  • In the last four games played against teams that are certainly not irresistible (Panama, Jamaica, South Korea, and Uzbekistan), Cameroon has scored only two goals and failed to score twice.
  • Switzerland has an iron defense, having conceded only three goals in their last three official matches, including a clean sheet against Portugal.

Uruguay vs Korea Republic | World Cup

24.11.2022 13:00

Prediction: 1-0

Group H of the World Cup in Qatar kicks off with Uruguay and South Korea on Thursday, November 24, with hierarchies still to be established. Portugal are the favorites in the group but have to manage the Ronaldo case. The South Americans and Ghana should duel for second place, but watch out for the Asians, who combine the class of Tottenham’s Son and Napoli’s Kim with a lot of racing.

Korea won a friendly against Iceland before the World Cup, their second win in a row, but of the two teams that will compete at the Education City Stadium, Uruguay appears to be in better shape, with seven wins and only one defeat in the last nine races. The stakes are already very high; whoever wins will rightfully be ranked second in the favorite rankings.

  • Uruguay have won all of their last four official matches.
  • Defense is the strong point of the South Americans, who have only conceded two goals in their last nine games.
  • There have been seven meetings in total between the sides, with Uruguay winning six.
  • In past meetings between the two teams, South Korea has scored only twice.
  • The Koreans’ attack has only scored two goals in their last two games against Iceland and Cameroon.

Portugal vs Ghana | World Cup

24.11.2022 16:00

Prediction: 2-1

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal will make its World Cup debut on Thursday, November 24, as they face Ghana on the first day of Group H, which also sees Uruguay and South Korea in the starting blocks. The Lusitanians are favorites to finish first in the group, but Ghana comes from good time. It will therefore be a battle for a challenge that is already worth a lot; the group promises to be balanced, and the Lusitanian side, fluctuating in the last period, certainly doesn’t have an easy road ahead. The match will be played at the Ras Abu Aboud stadium in Doha, renamed Stadium 974 after the number of containers used for construction.

  • Portugal’s last five matches have ended with fewer than 2.5 goals.
  • The Lusitanian team has conceded only two goals in the last six games played.
  • Portugal have gone off the field without conceding in four of their last six games.
  • Ghana’s last two games have all ended in under 2.5 goals.
  • The African team in the last friendly before the World Cup didn’t concede a single shot on goal against Switzerland.

Brazil vs Serbia | World Cup

24.11.2022 19:00

Prediction: 2-1

Thursday, November 22 will be Brazil’s big day at the World Cup in Qatar. The favorites for the final victory will make their debut against Serbia in a group that promises to be full of obstacles for the green-and-gold players given that Cameroon and Switzerland are also at the start. The match will be played at the Lusail Iconic Stadium, which will also host the final, and will see two very fit teams on the field. In fact, Brazil has not lost in sixteen games, their last defeat being in the Copa America final in 2021 with Argentina, while Serbia has returned from six games without a knockout and was able to finish ahead of Portugal in the qualifying group for the World Cup.

  • Brazil have won the two previous matches against Serbia, including the one in 2018 when the two teams met again in the World Cup group.
  • There are seven victories in a row for Brazil before the debut match in Qatar.
  • Six of the green and gold’s last seven games ended with a score of more than 2.5.
  • In the last seven games, the Cariocas have scored 5 goals twice, 4 goals three times, and on one occasion, they have put the ball in the net three times.
  • Serbia has three Over 2.5 games in the last four.
  • The Serbian national team has scored 13 goals in their last four outings of the season.
