However, their upcoming match against Newcastle at St. James Park will be challenging since Newcastle is currently in third place in the league table. There is a lot of tension between the two teams since Newcastle knocked Arsenal out of the Champions League by beating them 2-0 on May 16, 2022. As the season comes to a close, Arsenal needs to prove to the defending champions that they are still contenders for the Premier League title in June.
