FIFA Club World Cup. The last round of group stage games kicks off on June 23, and every match counts. Some teams have already punched their tickets to the knockouts, while others are hanging on by a thread. Only the top two from each of the eight groups move on—everyone else heads home.

If teams end up tied on points, here’s how rankings are decided:

  2. Goal difference in head-to-head games
  3. Goals scored in head-to-head games
  4. Overall goal difference
  5. Overall goals scored
  6. Fair play points:
    • Yellow card: −1
    • Two yellows = red: −3
    • Direct red: −4
    • Yellow + direct red: −5
  7. Drawing lots (if it’s still tied)

  • Porto: Must beat Al Ahly and hope Inter Miami win. Then it comes down to goal difference.
  • Al Ahly: Have to win and hope Palmeiras lose. Goal difference would decide from there.
