Belgium vs Wales | Nations League (22.09.2022, 18:45)

Belgium and Wales will face each other this Thursday night at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels in a game counting for the 5th round of the League of Nations A. With only two rounds to go at this stage of the competition, the red devils follow in second place with seven points, three less than the Netherlands, which lead alone, three more than Poland, and six more than the Welsh, who occupy the last place, and already they only seek to avoid relegation to the League of Nations B.

Belgium, which defeated Poland 1-0 in the previous round, hopes to finish first and thus guarantee its place in the competition’s final four, but in order to do so; it must win this match and hope that the Dutch stumble on their way to polish territory. This is because in the last round there will be a Netherlands-Belgium match; in the first round, the Dutch won 1-4 in Brussels. The Welsh, on the other hand, are coming off a 3-2 defeat against the Dutch and want a victory that will allow them to equal the Poles. Who will get the better of it?

Form Guide

Belgium DWLWDW

After beating Poland 1-0 in the Nations League for their most recent win, Belgium is looking to add another win to their collection.

During that match, Belgium held possession of the ball for 69% of the game and had 12 shots on goal, with four of those shots hitting the target. Michy Batshuayi was the only player to score for Belgium (in the sixteenth minute). On the other hand, Poland had 11 shots on goal, but only one of them was successful in hitting the target.

In recent years, games against Belgium have frequently been exciting, with a high number of goals being a consistent feature of these contests. Both teams have scored a combined 22 goals over the course of their most recent six games (which works out to an average of 3.67 goals per game), with Belgium being responsible for 14 of those goals scored.

Wales DLWLDL

Wales’ last Nations League game, a loss to the Netherlands, was a disappointing showing, so they will be looking to make up for it in this match.

During that match, Wales held 40 percent of the possession and had nine shots on goal, with 4 of them finding the target. Both of Wales’ goals came from Brennan Johnson (in the 26th minute) and Gareth Bale (in the 92nd minute). On the other hand, the Netherlands attempted 22 shots on goal, 7 of which were successful in hitting the target. The Netherlands was victorious thanks to goals from Noa Lang (17′), Cody Gakpo (23′), and Memphis Depay (93′).

Wales has scored seven goals during the course of their past half-dozen matches. At each of those times, Wales has also been successful in scoring a goal. During this time, their defenders have been responsible for allowing nine goals to be scored against them.

Belgium vs Wales Predicted XI

Belgium Predicted XI: Mignolet, Alderweireld, Dendoncker, Vertonghen, Castagne, Tielemans, Witsel, T. Hazard, Mertens, Batshuayi, E. Hazard.

Wales Predicted XI: Hennessey, Burns, Rodon, Mepham, Davies, Thomas, Ampadu, Smith, Wilson, James, Johnson.

Prediction

Belgium needs to win for the decision on first place to be put off until the last game. The Red Devils welcome a Wales that has lost three of its four games, and we believe that the Belgian team will be able to add the three points and score multiple goals against Wales. We anticipate that Wales will try to reach the back of the net.

As a result, we anticipate that Belgium will cruise to an easy victory with a score of 2-1 after the first ninety minutes.

Croatia vs Denmark | Nations League (22.09.2022, 18:45)

A challenge for the leader of Group 1 of the UEFA Nations League A takes place at the Stadion Maksimir in Zagreb, where Croatia take on Denmark. The hosts, coached by Zlatko Dalic, are second with 7 points and are back from two 1-0 victories, the last of which came at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis with a goal from Luka Modric from a penalty.

The Denmark of coach Kasper Hjulmand, on the other hand, won at home 2-0 in the last match played with Austria and on that occasion Jonas Wind and Andreas Skov Olsen scored. The Danes lead the group at 9 points.

Form Guide

Croatia DWLDWW

Following on from their previous success in the Nations League, Croatia will be hoping for more of the same after defeating France 1-0.

During that game, Croatia held a 46% possession advantage and had four shots on goal, with three of them finding their mark. Luka Modri was the only player from Croatia to register a point on the scoresheet (5′). The French team had 17 shots on goal, but only four of them were on target.

Over the course of their last six matches, Zlatko Dalic Croatia team has celebrated scoring a combined 6 goals. On the other hand, the total number of goals that they have allowed their opponents to score in those games is six.

Denmark LWWWLW

In their most recent match in the Nations League, Denmark defeated Austria 2-0, giving them a winning record heading into this contest.

During that match, Denmark had 53% of control of the ball and 15 shots on goal, with six of those shots hitting the target. Both Jonas Wind (in the 21st minute) and Andreas Skov Olsen (in the 37th minute) scored for Denmark. The team they were competing against, Austria had nine shots on goal, with only two of them hitting the target.

Kasper Hjulmand’s Denmark team has scored 11 goals over their most recent six matches, giving them an average of 1.83 goals scored per match.

Croatia vs Denmark Predicted XI

Croatia Predicted XI: Livaković; Vrsaljko, Erlić, Šutalo, Juranović; Jakić, Brozović; Ivanušec, Pašalić, Oršić; Kramarić.

Denmark Predicted XI: Schmeichel; Wass, Andersen, Christensen, Mæhle; Højbjerg, Eriksen, Delaney; Skov Olsen, Damsgaard, Cornelius.

Prediction

The Danes would get one-step closer to the final stage of the tournament if they were to come out of the Stadion Maksimir without suffering any defeats.

We believe that both sides have the ability to score, but we also believe that it may not be enough to win the game.

We anticipate a close contest that will end in a 1-1 tie once the full ninety minutes have been played.

France vs Austria | Nations League (22.09.2022, 18:45)

In the upcoming match between France and Austria, which is part of League A, Group 1, of the UEFA Nations League, France will be aiming for a revival after going through a difficult phase. As Match Day 5 of the competition begins, France is now in last place in the group with two points, while Austria is currently in third place with four points. The current holders of the Nations Cup are France; but, given the current state of affairs, they will not be able to successfully defend their title. It is possible that things will get even worse; if they lose this game, they will be demoted to League B. The reigning world champions have gone winless in their last four matches, all of which were played in the Nations League. They are the only team in this group that does not yet have a victory, as they were defeated by Croatia in their most recent match, a 1-0 loss at home. In three of France’s most recent five encounters, both teams have found the back of the net. Karim Benzema, Paul Pogba, and N’golo Kante are all essential members of this team, but they will not be participating in this match because they are out injured.

Both France and Austria have struggled in their most recent games; Austria enters this match having won only one of their previous five matches, and they have not won any of their most recent three games. They tied France with a score of 1-1 in their first match for this group, but they have a distinct advantage over France in that they have won at least one of their four matches for this group. They defeated Croatia away from their home field by a score of 3-0 and will be hoping for a similar result against an injury-plagued French team. Austria still has a mathematical chance of winning this group, despite the fact that it is highly improbable that they will do so. However, there is one thing that they will definitely be playing for here, and that is to escape being demoted to League B. They have not been very good defensively, as they have given up two goals or more in three of their most recent five matches and have kept a clean sheet in only one of those five contests. The Austrian national team has only been held scoreless once in their last five encounters, but both teams have scored in three of those matchups.

Form Guide

France WWLDDL

After their previous Nations League match, in which they were defeated by Croatia 0-1, France will be expecting a much better outcome this time around.

During that encounter, France held possession of the ball for 54% of the time and had 17 shots on goal, with four of them finding the target. On the other side of the field, Croatia had four shots on goal, three of which were on target. Luka Modrić scored the goal for Croatia in the fifth minute.

In the most recent games, France has not had a lot of success in keeping their lead for the whole three-quarters of an hour. Actually, France has allowed goals to be scored against them in five of their most recent 6 matches, totaling 6 goals conceded along the way.

Austria LDWLDL

After losing to Denmark in their last Nations League match, Austria and its fans will be hoping for a different result this time.

During that match, Austria held 47% of the possession and had nine shots on goal, with only 2 of them finding the back of the net. On the other side of the field, Denmark had 15 shots on goal, six of which were on target. Jonas Wind (21′) and Andreas Skov Olsen (37′) scored for Denmark.

The statistics speak for themselves, and they show that Austria have allowed their opponents to score in 5 of their most recent six matches, for a total of 9 goals scored against them. When it comes to defense, Austria appears to have a few holes in their armor.

Injured and suspended

France: (Karim Benzema, Paul Pogba, and N’golo Kante).

Austria: clean bill of health and no suspension concerns.

France vs Austria Predicted XI

France Predicted XI: Maignan, Kounde, Konate, Kimpembe, Digne, Rabiot, Kamara, Guendouzi, Nkunku, Thuram, Mbappe.

Austria Predicted XI: Lindner, Trimmel, Trauner, Danso, Wimmer, Lazaro, Schlager, Seiwald, Sabitzer, Kalajdzic, Weimann

Prediction

It should come as no surprise that France and Austria are now occupying the two worst spots in this group given that neither country is doing particularly well. After four matches, France has not yet earned a victory in this competition and so will not be able to proceed to the semifinals. Both teams will go into this game with the main goal of making sure they don’t get demoted.

When France faces Austria, a team that will have a difficult time scoring goals of their own, we do not believe that they have it in them to score at least one goal against Austria.

Our prediction is for a 0-0 draw after regulation and overtime.

Poland vs Netherlands | Nations League (22.09.2022, 18:45)

The clash between Poland and the Netherlands will have the focus on one figure, that of Robert Lewandowski, the striker of the moment right now in Europe. His new adventure in Barcelona has begun in luxury, and he will try to carry his good form into the Nations League, where Poland is third in Group 4 with four points, six fewer than the Netherlands, who leads with ten, after four journeys.

If the “orange” manages to win in Poland, it will be virtually qualified for the semifinals of the tournament. It will not be easy for the Dutch team in this match, as we remember that the only obstacle for Van Gaal’s men to date came at home and precisely against Poland (2-2).

Form Guide

Poland DWWLDL

After suffering a loss against Belgium in their previous Nations League match by the score of 0-1, Poland will be hoping for a better outcome this time around.

During that game, Poland held 31% of the possession and had 11 shots on goal, but just one was on target. On the other hand, Belgium attempted 12 shots on goal, four of which were successful in hitting the target. Michy Batshuayi scored Belgium’s goal in the sixteenth minute.

In recent years, Poland has not been able to avoid conceding victories very frequently. The statistics show that Poland has conceded goals in five of their most recent six matches, totaling 11 conceded goals in that span of time.

Netherlands WDWWDW

The Netherlands are feeling good about themselves after beating Wales 3-2 in their most recent Nations League match.

In that game, the Netherlands held possession for 60% of the time and had 22 shots on goal, with 7 of them finding the target. Noa Lang (17′), Cody Gakpo (23′), and Memphis Depay (93′) were the players who found the back of the net for the Netherlands. On the other hand, Wales had nine shots at the goal, four of which were on target. Both Brennan Johnson (at the 26-minute mark) and Gareth Bale (at the 92-minute mark) scored for Wales.

There have been at least three goals scored in each of the previous five and a half matches that the Netherlands has participated in. During that stretch, the total average number of goals scored per match was 4.17, and the number of goals scored by the Netherlands on an individual match basis averaged out to 2.67.

Injured and suspended

Poland: clean bill of health and no suspension concerns.

Netherlands: clean bill of health and no suspension concerns.

Borussia Dortmund vs Schalke Predicted XI

Poland Predicted XI: Szczesny; Cash, Wieteska, Glik, Kiwior, Zalewski; Zurkowski, Linetty, Szymanski; Zielinski, Lewandowski.

Netherlands Predicted XI: Cillassen; Teze, de Ligt, Martins Indi; Hateboer, Koopmeiners, Berghuis, Malacia; Gakpo; Depay, Lang.

Prediction

The Netherlands have dominated the group and are favorites to qualify for the Final Four. The Dutch team plays their own brand of football, generating several goalscoring opportunities and registering six goals in two away games. Therefore, we are seeing a very hard-fought match, which will end with the Netherlands winning by a score of 1-2.

Germany vs Hungary | Nations League (23.09.2022, 18:45)

Germany will enter their match against Hungary at Red Bull Arena feeling confident after their impressive victory against Italy, which ended with a score of 5-2 in Germany’s favor. Hungary now holds the first spot in the standings.

On the other side, the Hungarians are shocking everyone by leading Group 3, since the squad has already defeated England twice in the process. In any case, a victory in front of their home crowd should be a priority this time around, especially after Germany’s impressive performance in the defeat of Italy three months ago.

Form Guide

Germany WDDDDW

Following their victory over Italy in the Nations League by a score of 5-2, Germany will be looking for a similar outcome this time around.

During that encounter, Germany held a possession percentage of 65.5% and had 17 shots on goal, with 9 of them landing in the target area. Germany’s goal scorers were Joshua Kimmich (10 minutes), llkay Gündoan (45′), Thomas Müller (51′), and Timo Werner (68′, 69′). Italy had 14 shots on goal, but only 6 of them were on target. Wilfired Gnonto (in the 78th minute) and Alessandro Bastoni scored Italy’s goals (in the 94th minute).

In recent years, Germany has had very few instances in which it has maintained a perfect record. They should be concerned about the fact that they have conceded goals in 5 of their last 6 matches, for a total of 6 goals allowed in that span of play.

Hungary LWWLDW

The last time Hungary played in the UEFA Nations League, they beat England 4-0.

During that game, Hungary had 31% possession of the ball and 6 shots on goal, with 5 of those shots finding the target. Roland Sallai (in the 16th and 70th minutes), Zsolt Nagy (in the 80th minute), and Dániel Gazdag (in the 89th minute) scored the goals for Hungary. At the other end of the field, England had ten shots on goal, with two of them actually hitting the target.

The Hungary defense has put together a string of strong performances, which has led to a reduction in the number of goals conceded by the team from the last six matches they have participated in combined. In the same amount of time, their own offensive unit was successful in scoring 8 goals.

Injured and suspended

Germany: clean bill of health and no suspension concerns.

Hungary: clean bill of health and no suspension concerns.

Germany vs Hungary Predicted XI

Germany Predicted XI: Neuer, Rüdiger, Klostermann, Raum, Schlotterbeck, Gündoğan, Hofmann, Kimmich, Havertz, Musiala, Müller.

Hungary Predicted XI: Dibusz, Négo, Lang, Orban, Nagy, Attila Szalai, Sallai, Nagy, Szoboszlai, Schäfer, Szala.

Prediction

We do not believe there will be a significant margin between them, so there is a good chance that they will tie for first place. We think that as a result of this element, this game will be a close match that will end up with a score of 2-2.

Italy vs England | Nations League (23.09.2022, 18:45)

With the break in the championships, the national teams and the Azzurri are back. Roberto Mancini’s team faces England at San Siro on the fifth day of Group 3 of the Nations League. There have been many new entries among the coaches called up, with the young Cancellieri and Zerbin above all, and the hope is to start a new and important cycle. Italy has to react after the heavy 5-2 defeat to Germany in Monchengladbach, which slipped them to third place in the group, with Hungary surprisingly leading. Even though the Azzurri will not go to Qatar, it is important to keep the enthusiasm high and create a strong, cohesive group for the future.

England struggled a lot in the first Nations League matches and are last in the standings with just 2 points. Gareth Southgate’s selection seemed unrecognizable, especially on an offensive level, with only one goal scored in the four matches played. The three lions need to rediscover their certainties in order to present themselves to the World Cup with the right confidence, given that they are the runners-up of Europe and have enormous technical potential. In the first leg, the two teams canceled each other out, and an equalizer with goalless goals came out, albeit with many chances on both sides.

Form Guide

Italy WLDWDL

Italy will not want to lose again after Germany beat them 5-2 in their last Nations League match.

During that game, Italy had 35% possession of the ball and 14 shots on goal, with 6 of those shots finding their mark. Wilfired Gnonto (in the 78th minute) and Alessandro Bastoni (in the 94th minute) scored the goals for Italy. On the other side of the field, Germany had 17 shots on goal, 9 of which were on target. Germany’s goal scorers were Joshua Kimmich (10 minutes), llkay Gündoan (45′), Thomas Müller (51′), and Timo Werner (68′, 69′).

Recent matches against Italy have typically been high-scoring, action-packed affairs, which have become something of a hallmark of these contests. Both teams have scored a combined 20 goals over the course of their most recent 6 games (which works out to an average of 3.33 goals per game), with Italy being responsible for 8 of those goals.

England WWLDDL

Since England’s most recent match in the Nations League competition was a loss to Hungary, they will be trying to turn things around here after their poor performance in that match.

During that game, England held possession for 69% of the time and had 10 shots on goal, with only 2 of them finding the target. Hungary had six shots on goal, five of which were on target. Hungary’s goals were scored by Roland Sallai (in the 16th and 70th minutes), Zsolt Nagy (in the 80th minute), and Dániel Gazdag (in the 89th minute).

Over the course of their previous six matches, the England team coached by Gareth Southgate has been awarded goals for their efforts on goal a total of six times. 7 goals have been scored against them over the time period in question, making that the total number of goals scored against them.

Injured and suspended

Italy: clean bill of health and no suspension concerns.

England: clean bill of health and no suspension concerns.

Italy vs England Predicted XI

Italy Predicted XI: Donnarumma; Calabria, Mancini, Bastoni; Spinazzola, Frattesi, Cristante, Barella, Politano; Raspadori, Gnonto.

England Predicted XI: Ramsdale; James, Stones, Guehi, Walker; Bellingham, Phillips, Gallagher; Bowen, Kane, Saka.

Prediction

In light of the fact that these two teams are being compared, we are of the opinion that Italy will without a doubt be able to overcome England.

We foresee a close competition that will culminate with Italy coming triumphant with a score of 1-0 at the conclusion of the game.

Finland vs Romania | Nations League (23.09.2022, 18:45)

Finland and Romania compete in Group 3 of the Nations League Series B. The match is almost a salvation play-off; the guests are in fact last at 3 points, while the hosts are at 4, and both are now too far from Bosnia-Herzegovina and Montenegro to fight for first place. Finland arrives at the match after defeats against Romania and Bosnia, while the Romanians have lost three of their four games. The stakes are very high: whoever loses has one foot in Serie C, and the bookmakers give a small advantage to the hosts, who are favored for the victory.

Form Guide

Finland DLDWLL

After losing 3-2 to Bosnia in their last Nations League game, Finland will not be hoping for the same result today.

During that match, Finland held a 60% possession advantage and had eight shots on goal, with 3 of them finding the back of the net. Teemu Pukki (10 minutes) and Benjamin Kallman (18 minutes) were the ones to score for Finland. On the other hand, Bosnia attempted 16 attempts on goal, 7 of which were successful. Both Miralem Pjanić and Edin Džeko scored for Bosnia in the fifth and 58th minutes, respectively.

In their most recent matches, Finland have not been successful in keeping a clean sheet very often. The fact of the matter is that Finland has allowed goals to be scored against them in 5 of their most recent 6 games, resulting in a total of 8 goals conceded.

Romania LDLLWL

Following their previous outing in the Nations League, which ended in a loss to Montenegro, Romania and their fans that traveled with them will be hoping for a different outcome tonight.

During that match, Romania held 59% of the possession and had seven shots on goal, with only 2 of them finding the target. On the other hand, Montenegro had 14 shots on goal, with only four of them actually hitting the target. Stefan Mugoša for Montenegro scored three goals in the 42nd, 56th, and 63rd minutes.

Over the course of their last six contests, the attacking players for Romania have had trouble scoring goals, providing a dismal only three goals. During those matches, Tricolorii have conceded nine goals, bringing the team’s overall goal tally to nine.

Finland: clean bill of health and no suspension concerns.

Romania: clean bill of health and no suspension concerns.

Finland vs Romania Predicted XI

Romania Predicted XI: Nita, Bancu, Burca, Chiriches, Manea, Maxim, M. Marin, R. Marin, Mihaila, Puscas, Stefanescu.

Prediction

In light of the fact that these two teams will be competing against one another, we are of the opinion that Romania will certainly be capable of scoring against Finland. In spite of this, we do not feel that this will provide them with the opportunity to win the match.

We foresee a competitive contest that will end with the score being tied at 1-1 by the time the game is through.

Slovenia vs Norway | Nations League (24.09.2022, 16:00)

The football match that will take place on Saturday at Stadion Stozice features Norway and Slovenia, two teams that are currently positioned on opposing sides of the table. Slovenia is at the bottom of the standings with only two points; however, a victory over Norway would allow them to leapfrog Sweden and move into third place. Miha Zajc, who has played for the national team 34 times and scored seven goals for them, will be one of the players to keep an eye on for the home team.

The Scandinavians, on the other hand, continue to put their faith in the newly acquired star player from Manchester City, Erling Haaland, who has already begun to produce results in the Premier League. We anticipate that Norway will demonstrate their worth on the field, and they have the goal of maintaining their top position in Group 4.

Form Guide

Slovenia LLDD

The most recent match between Serbia and Slovenia ended in a tie, with a score of 2-2.

The percentage of time that Slovenia had possession of the ball during that game was 43%, and they attempted five shots on goal, with only one of them being on target. The goals for Slovenia came from Sesko and Cerin (in the 48th and 53rd minutes). The side they were competing against, Serbia, had six shots on goal, but only two of them were truly successful in reaching the target. The goals for Serbia came from Mitrović and Zivković.

One of Slovenia’s most recent victories came at the expense of Croatia, while three contests ended in a tie.

There is a good chance that the confident Slovenia and Norway will play a passionate, exciting, lively, joyful game with lots of chances to score on both sides.

We have decided to go with a very competitive confrontation, with Slovenia and Norway drawing 1-1.

Czech Republic vs Portugal | Nations League (24.09.2022, 18:45)

The Czech Republic and Portugal, two countries whose most recent group games were lost to Spain and Switzerland, respectively, will play each other in a match for the Nations League on Saturday. The Czechs want to avoid having to play in League B next season, but they have an uphill battle in Round 5 of the competition.

On the other hand, Portugal’s objective is to reduce Spain’s lead and take the lead themselves. A win on the road is something that should be considered given that Fernando Santos will have key players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Diogo Jota, Bruno Fernandes, Joao Cancelo, and Bernardo Silva available for Saturday’s match. Earlier on in the competition, Portugal defeated the Czech Republic with ease, prevailing by a score of 2-0.

Form Guide

Czech Republic DWDLL

The Czech Republic’s previous match resulted in a defeat at the hands of Spain by a score of 2-0. During the course of that match, the Czech Republic maintained a possession advantage of 24% and had 5 shots on goal, with 2 of them finding the target. Spain had seven shots on goal, but they only managed to hit the target three times. The goals for Spain came from Pablo Sarabia and Carlos Soler.

In their most recent matches, the Czech Republic has only sometimes demonstrated the level of defensive commitment that one would anticipate from a team of their caliber.

The Czech Republic’s previous three matches in the League had resulted in none of them being won by them.

Portugal DWDLDL

Switzerland prevailed over Portugal in their previous matchup against each other. After suffering that setback, they will be working hard to make up lost ground here.

During the course of that match, Portugal had a possession rate of 57% and 15 shots on goal, with eight of those shots being successful in striking the target.

However, only two of Switzerland’s five shots on goal were actually successful in hitting the target. Haris Seferović scored the game-winning goal for Switzerland in the first minute of play.

In their last four matches against the Czech Republic, Portugal has only suffered one defeat (in all competitions).

Czech Republic Predicted XI: Mandous; Zima, Brabec, Jemelka; Coufal, Sadilek, Soucek, Zeleny, Pesek; Kuchta, Cerny.

Portugal Predicted XI: Patricio; Mendes, Pereira, Pepe, Cancelo; Otavio, Neves, Fernandes; Ferreira, Silva Andre, Leao.

Prediction

We get the sense that Portugal has it in them to score a few goals when they play the Czech Republic, who may have difficulties getting their names on the scoresheet. This gives us reason to be optimistic about Portugal’s chances of winning.

Because of this, we think Portugal will win with a commanding 2-0 lead at the end of the game.

Spain vs Switzerland | Nations League (24.09.2022, 18:45)

In the fifth round of competition in their Nations League A group, Spain will face off against Switzerland. Las Furias Rojas are currently in the middle of an amazing eight-game winning streak, and in their last twelve games, they have only lost once. The team coached by Enrique is now preparing for their upcoming match in Qatar, and they appear to be in strong defensive shape because they have recorded four clean sheets in their last eight matches. They have only dropped one of their last twenty-two matches at home, and they have won sixteen of those matches.

Even if they are getting ready for Qatar, the Swiss still have a little bit more work to do than their Spanish competitors do now. This is because they have only won one of their previous six games and have given up goals in six of their previous eight matches. They will also need to pick it up away from home in order to be successful, since they have now lost their previous three matches in a row.

Form Guide

Spain WWDDWW

After beating the Czech Republic 2-0, Spain is looking to add another victory to its resume.

During that game, Spain held a possession percentage of 76% and had 8 shots on goal, 2 of which were on target. Carlos Soler (in the 24th minute) and Pablo Sarabia (in the 74th minute) scored goals for Spain.

This team is in frightening form at home. Additionally, Spain has only won one of their last six matches played at home against Switzerland.

Switzerland LDLLLW

Switzerland’s most recent match was played against Portugal, in which they won 1-0.

During that game, Switzerland controlled possession for 43% of the time and had 5 shots on goal, with 2 of them finding the target. On the other end of the field, Portugal had seven shots on goal, four of which were on target. Haris Seferović scored the game-winning goal for Switzerland in the first minute of play.

The team captained by Murat Yakin came out on top against Portugal in their most recent match, and in their previous six head-to-head contests versus Spain in regular season play, they have only suffered a single defeat.

Switzerland Predicted XI: Omlin; Widmer, Akanji, Elvedi; Rodriguez, Freuler, Xhaka, Sow; Shaqiri, Seferovic, Embolo.

Prediction

Switzerland has the ability to score against Spain in this encounter; nevertheless, it is quite likely that they will allow Spain to score in their end of the field even if they are successful in scoring goals.

We anticipate that after the full ninety minutes of play, the score will end up being a tie (1-1).
