Nottingham head into this game having already competed in 11 matches and are now set for 19th place in the rankings with six points. After earning a 1-0 victory over West Ham United in the middle of the week, Liverpool are currently in seventh place with 16 points and will be looking to capture three more points here.

However, because of the hard patch that the Sevilla club is currently going through, expectations have been lowered to a lower level. Real Madrid are currently in first place in the league and have already secured their spot in the last round of the Champions League.

After getting off to one of the worst starts to the season in recent memory, the Andalusians don’t appear to be making much progress at all. At 18 points behind the leader and a foot and a half out of the Champions League, this match will be worth it for the players of Sevilla if it is deserved and if they earn it through the hard work, intensity, and work that the Argentine coach always imposes on the veins of their players.

• The Galacticos are still undefeated this season.

• Sevilla have only won two of their first 10 games in La Liga.

Barcelona vs Athletic Bilbao | La Liga

The previous week, Barcelona suffered a crushing loss to Real Madrid in one of the most pivotal matches of the league. They have since bounced back from that setback. The three goals that were let up are equivalent to the three goals that were given up at Inter; the defense that was nearly perfect a month ago is now weak, and injuries do not help the situation.

After a promising beginning to the tournament, Athletic are not in much better shape than they were before. The two points earned in three games don’t match the goals of a team that wants to compete in Europe, but at least the offense works well even in this situation.
